Ecuador

South America had long been on my list, and in 2025 I finally had the opportunity to travel to this wonderful country. Although relatively small in area, Ecuador offers a wide range of different habitats, from the rainforests of the Amazon to the Chocó region on the border with Colombia, and the cloud forests in the central mountain regions.
Over the course of three weeks, I was able to observe numerous endemic species and photograph many of them.
