Balkan
The Balkan region is one of the wildest and untouched places of Europe, moreover it is one of the places with the highest diversity of reptiles and amphibians in Europe. Especially the various colour phases of the nose-horned adder (Vipera ammodytes) have captured my fascination in this rugged scenery.
